Polly wants a cracker!
Well, one of the best places in the KL Bird Park is actually the Parrot area. This is where you see lots and lots of parrots, maccaws and other birds in that huge family. Not to mention some of them roam free in this area means you get better shots.
How else can you get up close to these lovely birds? Of course, some fly ridiculously low that they almost hit you.
Still, this remains my favourite area despite the danger :P I mean, when they are so colourful and so close to you, you just know that this is worth the entrance fee.
Next up, we will take a look at some water birds :)

wow..nice to see the color reproduction is so vibrant. not to mention your good photography skills too!!!
@orenzai thanks :) Yep Nikon colours, got to love them.
you've turned avian! =) vibrant colors. the last shot is my pick. nice clean background, a strong red, but without losing the details.
@steph haha will be back to bugs soon enough. Haven't been shooting anything else but bugs lately :P
your theater set was really nice. i must kidnap you one time and have you teach me your post-processing. sigh. if only can automate and or do it telepathically, i'll get more done. =)
@steph haha now that I shoot in RAW, there are steps, but before that :P It was JPG + Picasa and heavy dose of luck :)
Then again, I don't really shoot people so the animals and bugs are not so critical about a pimple or two, or even rough skin :P
